Canada, WE have a problem
Have you been following the latest news about the disturbing activities happening at the WE Charity group of companies?
One of my favourite podcasts, Canadaland, has been on fire lately with story after story on this from obtaining a recording of WE co-founder Marc Kielburger patiently listening as a senior employee described how he paid off Kenyan government officials and threatened to have a colleague murdered to yesterday’s revelation that millions of dollars have been moved from the charity to their founders’ private companies.
If you haven’t been following this evolving story, I would highly recommend getting familiar with what could be a significant event for Canada and the charity world. This could potentially take down the Prime Minister, in addition to the Kielburgers and their companies, and it would be all thanks to reporting from a shining example of independent media in Canada.
If you would like to learn more about this story, following are some more links to get you started:

Finally, if you believe in holding truth to power, keeping mainstream media accountable, and want to support independent media in Canada, I would encourage you to join me in supporting Canadaland.
