Health care in Canada is slowly being privatized

This is something I have been warning about for awhile now. Covid has stretched our already-limited healthcare resources thin, as surgeries that already took months to get are now taking years, if at all, while heathcare providers leave the industry in droves to seek less stressful careers. It is needless to say that things are not looking good for our public healthcare system.

Radical change is needed to properly treat sick and injured Canadians in a timely and equitable manner. Inserting the profit-motive, however, is most certainly not going to be the answer.
