It’s time to accept the reality that Israel is an apartheid state

As someone who believes in equality and social justice, I will always shed light on the atrocities being committed on people for simply being born with a particular feature or born in a particular location. That is to say, I believe you should be treated equally no matter your race, religion, gender, sex, etc.

The innocent people of Palestine who are having their land and lives taken from them by Israeli government forces are no exception. Governments like our own in Canada are currently supporting the apartheid regime in the Middle Eastern country and that needs to end if we want to claim to be on the side of equality, social justice, and human rights.

Amnesty International recently released a report exposing these human rights abuses that are being committed against Palestinians.
