Tech billionaires are buying up luxurious bunkers and hiring military security to survive a societal collapse they helped create, but like everything they do, it has unintended consequences

The complex and fragile supply chains that our society relies on, the wealthy being the ones who rely on it the most, cannot simply be replaced by hermetically sealed bunkers or private island fortresses. So it’s best we as a society focus our innovation efforts on enabling communities to become self-sustaining and robust. We likely have a better chance at mitigating the outcomes of a disaster for all of us in this way, than the few of those with means have at sitting out disaster all together. If we as society become more sustainable and cooperative, we will better handle the precarious future that the hoarders of wealth are leading us into.
